Probably a more widely-seen view of Bali: Kuta Beach in 1998.
Travel writers sometimes claim that Bali is the original example of a destination ruined by tourists, and it can be hard to dispute the point. While the beaches are undeniably beautiful, they are also undeniably overrun by foreign tourists. I preferred those of Lombok in many ways, but for whatever reason didn't take any pictures there.
